A fourth generation combat-veteran, JD served two tours as a Fire Team Leader with 2/75 Ranger Battalion in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. J.D. served  from 1999 to 2007. J.D. currently works within the Ocean Rescue division of the Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue Department and holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Nursing from Georgetown University.

Favorite dive spot: The Combat Diver Qualification Course pool, Key West, FL as long as PT is involved.
